Student Surveys
This is a paid survey site only for students. It pays in Amazon.co.uk vouchers and generally rewards you better than most other survey sites for a relatively short amount of your time
For internet in your student house I'd go with V21.co.uk who offer ADSL broadband through your phone line and have speeds of up to 2Mb and a monthly contract.
It has the benefit of only having to pay for internet while you are actually in the house.
Your NUS Card
You may not be aware of it but your student card can be pretty handy in certain stores:
Topshop/Topman will give you a 10% discount
HMV will also give you a 10% discount
Most cinemsa do a student rate
I believe McDonalds will give you a free burger when you show your card if buying a meal.
Furthermore, always ask retailers if they offer a student discount as a suprising amount will say yes!
